## **HISTORICAL** ### Phase 1: **AXGT (AxonDAO Governance Token)** AXGT (V1) launched on Uniswap on Feb 13, 2024 at 8am EST. ### Deflationary Supply Model AXGT operates on a **fixed, deflationary V2 supply model** enforced directly at the contract level. The contract contains **no mint functionality**. The token was originally deployed with a maximum supply of **1,000,000,000 AXGT**. Since launch, **271,909,430 AXGT have been permanently burned on-chain**, resulting in a **current fixed total supply of 728,089,886 AXGT**. New tokens cannot be created under any circumstances.
